Welcome to Movementality- we are pleased to serve the Bowling Green, Ohio area as a Yoga & Wellness Studio. We provide a variety of classes for you to utilize as a part in your wellness plan.

Our goal at Movemetality is to create an environment where students and teachers can practice daily. Our entire staff is committed to creating an environment of inspiration that in turn leads to a happier and healthier lives.

Yoga means unity, or the integration of all parts of the self - body, mind and spirit - through physical postures, breathing techniques and mental focus. We provide each student with an encouraging, friendly and uplifting environment. Our experienced instructors will mindfuly guide your towards creating a regular yoga practice.

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES

Sunrise Yoga
We will start the morning with a gentle, yet flowing practice. Appropriate for the practitioner of any level. We will travel through Sun Salutations in each session of this class also, allowing time for deeper holds and focus on breath and alignment.  We expect this class to set you up for a grounded start to your day.

Hatha Yoga
This class will incorporate classical yoga postures and mindful movement with the goal of strengthening, cleansing and opening the body. We will explore deep holds and breath awareness that will leave you feeling energized and rejuvenated.


Easy Flow Yoga
This class is appropriate for beginners, if you are recovering from an injury or for those want a slower moving class. This class includes gentle stretches, breathing, relaxation, and simple movements to increase range of motion of the major joints.

Stretch & Relax
This deeply relaxing and meditative yoga class will include a variety of breath work, slower moving postures,  and supported restorative postures with props that allow the body to relax and release. Also included is deeper relaxation with guided imagery, meditation, or yoga nidra, one of the deepest possible states of relaxation. This class can help calm the mind, reduce stress, and heal and restore the body
.

Urban Zen
Urban Zen Integrative Therapists use multiple modalities to address symptoms of PANIC - Pain, Anxiety, Nausea, Insomnia and Constipation- that accompany disease or injury. These modalities include gentle in-bed movements, restorative yoga poses, body scans, breath practices, aromatherapy and Reiki. If you would like to experience Urban Zen's approach, join us for this program. You will be led through a full "mock" therapy session. You'll leave the program feeling calm, relaxed and revitalized. No yoga experience required.

Yoga Basics

This is a basic Hatha yoga class. It is a strengthening, dynamic practice that synchronizes breath and movement while focusing on alignment. Great for the beginner who wants to build a strong foundation of basic yoga postures and breathing techniques as well as for the practitioner who wants to refine and master the fundamentals. It is an invitation to stretch, strengthen, refocus and unwind.

 

Mixed -Level Yoga

This practice is designed for the practitioner of ANY level. Each class will be uniquely sequenced to meet the needs of the participants. This class will combine stillness, strength, flow and balance.  You will leave this class feeling balanced, rejuvenated and we will offer you the opportunity to find just the right amount of challenge. 

Basic Vinyasa
This class will have strong flowing postures that link the body and the breath. The body will find strength, increase flexibility and develop better balance.  By synchronizing the breath with the movements, the mind will relax and energy will flow through the body, leaving you invigorated to start your day.  This is a mixed-level class in a slightly warmed room.


Vinyasa Yoga
We steadily build our connection of using the breath to guide our movement from one posture to the next. A vinyasa style practice will be energetic and will incorporate quick transitions and flows where we synchronize our breath with our movement. Time will be dedicated to posture breakdown, binds, inversions, arm balance introductions, and other challenging postures, with options for most practitioners. This class practices in a heated room (83-86 degrees). A vinyasa practice builds strength, coordination, deeper breath, balance and flexibility.  This is a fun and challenging class, some familiarity with the practice is recommended. 
 
Wildcard Yoga
This is class for yogi’s ranging from beginner to advanced in their practice. This is a rejuvenating morning class that will set you up for a great weekend. Each class will vary in flow and will be taught by any one (or two) of our wonderful instructors.

Zumba®
Our Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you're getting fit and your energy levels are soaring! There is no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It is easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among our returning students.

Piloga
Fusing together the principles of Pilates and yoga, this class focuses on core strength and flexibility.  This one hour class will flex and flow between these two practice that will compliment your body's needs. This is a mixed-level class and all equipment is provided.
